Exceeded all my expectations, beautiful location and house, Karen was extremely kind and made us feel very welcome from the minute we arrived (a warm cup of tea was delivered in minutes!) we throughly enjoyed every minute of our stay and hope to return!
Great little self contained place, clean, comfortable and easy access. Great place and fantastic owner. Recommended.
I can’t fault this accommodation at all. Modern and roomy for a family of five. All fittings and fixtures like new. Faultlessly clean. Sky tv and excellent wifi connection. Our host was also great! We arrived late in the evening and our host was on hand to welcome us with information and cookies!! We left fairly early next morning but that wasn’t an issue to our host who cooked us a made to order delicious breakfast….best porridge I’d tasted for a long time!! Our host even gave us very precise directions to get to NEC which avoided any congestion. Location wise again cannot be faulted. Very quiet area and in a lovely part of the country and yet easy to find from M6 toll and within easy reach of NEC. I cannot recommend this accommodation enough! Thank you!!
Karen was warm friendly and welcoming. The area was gorgeous and the cottage the same
Had a great time staying here again! Used the Scandinavian hut that is on offer for a great night with my girlfriend cooking and laughing the night away. The full English in the morning topped the entire stay off! Could not recommend this place enough!
Wonderful place to stay and Karen really helped us out at short notice. Even provided lifts to the train station so we made our concert. The free doughnuts was a great treat too.
Little Bridge Cottage is a special place. A lovely little find in an idyllic setting. Stayed for a business trip and could not have asked for a better place to rest my head after a hard day in the office. I would recommend the Scandinavian hut to anyone who stays here as this makes the stay that much more special. Will 100% be visiting again some time soon!
The Little Bridge Cottage is far beyond our expectation! It is a really lovely place to stay in Birmingham. The host, Karen asked me a few requirements and estimated arrive time a few days before the date. On the day, Karen was waiting and greeting us at the door and we have been served with hot tea and homemade cookies. The room is nice and warm when we step in. She perpared everything from the beds, fruits and toiletries. She talked through the house with patience. We feel home truly in deep. It is a quiet and airy place, where we had a sound sleep last night. With no surprise, Karen prepared us delicious full English breakfast with tea and coffee. That was fantastic! Not to mention that, there is a lovely garden we can access to with no restrictions. The garden is amazing!! It is well organized and maintained. We relly enjoy staying in this environment. Also, in the garden, there is a special small hut, which is very intresting. We didn’t have any chance to use it this time, but will definitely come back with friends. After all, I’d strong recommended this to you all and I’d like to say great thank you to Karen. We will definitely come back again!!
Fantastic host who went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. On arrival we were greeted with teas/coffees and home made cookies, and Karen continued to look after us making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The accommodation itself is spacious and beautifully decorated, with all the facilities you’d need for a comfortable weekend away. We paid a little extra to use the ‘reindeer hut’ in the garden and it was a fantastic quirky addition that really made our stay. It included a fire pit which was perfect for toasting our marshmallows! Would definitely recommend and indeed would love to return for another stay!
Thank you for an outstanding stay, you made us all so very welcome. The best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in, very comfortable bed and everything so very well designed. We has a lovely day at ‘Thomas Land,’ my little 3 year old grandson really enjoyed himself. Thank you again and we wish you all the best for the future.

We could not have found a more welcoming and hospital place to spend a night on our way down to Cornwall. It is always a challenge to find something that works with 2 small kids, but Karen and family made it a pleasure to stay hear.
Thank you for everything including drying a car seat in front of the Aga and for a delicious breakfast.

Spending our 37th Wedding Anniversary in this beautiful ‘little house’ has been idyllic. Karen, you went out of your way to make us feel at home – and as I said, we have stayed in many similar places over the years, but Little Bridge Cottage has never been bettered!
We will return.

A huge thanks for the flexibility in arrival, We have had an excellent and very relaxed time at the cottage.
Little Bridge Cottage is delightful and was the perfect place to stay while we were in Sutton Coldfield for a family reunion. The annex is very comfortable and tastefully decorated to an extremely high standard. Karen was away the weekend we stayed but left useful notes and a fridge stocked with everything we could possibly want for breakfast! She was also very helpful and welcoming throughout the booking process. I would absolutely recommend this b&b to anyone looking to stay in the area.
Little bridge cottage is gorgeous – light, airy and beautiful decorated. The facilities are great – patio area, big comfy beds and good showers. We turned up with 4 cars between us and there was enough room for us. We used it as a base to explore Warwick and Stratford which worked really well. Karen, our host, could not have been more delightful. She really went out of her way to make us feel welcome and ensure our stay was perfect.
Me and a couple of friends had an amazing stay at little bridge cottage. It was the perfect place for a relaxing break and the house had all the comforts you might want/need. The house is light and airy and very clean and felt very homely. Karen was the perfect hostess who welcomed us warmly with tea & coffee and home baked cookies. She was extremely accommodating and made our stay that little bit extra special by cooking us the most amazing breakfast in the morning. The outside area is lovely and there’s something very special to discover in the garden. I will definitely come back again and stay in Karen’s little cottage in the near future!
I stayed for one night at little bridge cottage with 4 other friends and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. It was clean, spacious, the beds were really comfortable and Karen was very accommodating to anything we needed. I would highly recommend using this place to stay if it’s just a base for while you are visiting friends and family or need a break and want some beautiful scenery and quiet. I hope to stay there again on my next visit up to Birmingham . Big thanks to Karen and her son.
Karen text in advance and answered all my questions about the stay, she offered me the use of her fire hut for an additional fee (definitely worth it!) and even had a pot of coffee and some freshly made cookies for us on arrival. The cottage was much larger than I expected, I stayed with four friends and it didn’t feel in any way cramped. The facilities were spotless, basically it was a really lovely place to stay and I’m super glad we picked it. Would highly recommend Little Bridge Cottage.
Our host Karen was extremely welcoming and her daughter who is training to be a chef, made us feel at home straight away presenting us with some homemade cookies and amazing smelling coffee. Exactly what we needed after a long drive! We stayed in the main house in the cottage which is split over two floors and very beautifully decorated. It really had a feel of a luxury 5 star accommodation. The bonus to the place was that in the grounds, it had what was called an ‘Arctic hut’, a gorgeous quaint little building nestled in the gardens. It was all kitted out with Scandinavian type decor; cosy rugs and cushions were scattered all around, candle lanterns hung from the ceiling and the centrepiece to the room was a fire pit. I would 100% recommend Little Bridge Cottage.

It was Valentine’s day weekend (and my wife’s birthday) and work, unfortunately, meant we couldn’t do a ‘romantic’ Paris break or other exotic location. Or so we thought! Little Bridge Cottage is a truly romantic home and we loved every minute of our stay there. Karen was absolutely amazing and she made us feel really special with complimentary breakfast every morning and even offering to make us dinner! Her complimentary heart-shaped cookies and a truly delightful surprise of roses being placed on our bed knocked us off our socks and leaving proved difficult. We had so much fun. We are definitely coming back to visit, and this time with the kids.
The cottage is beautiful, everything in it is to a very high standard and the beds are like sleeping on fluffy clouds! Seriously ! Couple this with Karen’s (the owner)lovely welcoming personality and fab breakfast making skills – homemade granola, veggie breakfast including halloumi and vine tomatoes… with honey from the comb… and you’ll be rebooking !
I was looking to get away from busy London for a weekend, and found this adorable cottage! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and Karen was extremely welcoming! The cottage was such high quality and so comfortable to live in, and the countryside was beautifully relaxing. Thank you very much for an incredible weekend!!
Will definitely be coming back!
Every year we book a self catering holiday with our family and recently we were very fortunate to stay at Little Bridge Cottage. It is very comfortable with everything you could need and the owners live next door so can help with any local information. It was easy to find and we hope to return in the near future.

I recently stayed at Little Bridge Cottage with some girlfriends. It really is located in a lovely area and we found it very peaceful with its glorious garden. Inside the cottage it is furnished to a high standard. I have stayed in a lot of different self catering accommodations in the UK and this is definitely one of the best places I have stayed in. The owners have put a lot of careful thought into Little Bridge Cottage.
It is a great location with easy access from the M42 to explore countryside areas or to go into Birmingham.

Little Bridge Cottage- A really excellent stay!
We were welcomed and felt very much at home by Karen, who is the perfect host.
Accommodation is excellent in a quiet village with pleasant views etc. With the set-up designed by Karen herself all furnishings were of top quality. A very spacious top floor bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and downstairs a cosy living room with kitchen area and additional wet room. And a patio area, which unfortunately the weather prevented us from using.
The breakfast was excellent including on some days muffins to die for!
Karen is on hand in the main house to deal with any requests and problems, but you have an entirely separate annexe to enjoy with parking on-site. The cottage can accommodate up to 5 persons which was extremely useful when our son and wife came to stay over the weekend.
Although we were not the typical booking (we stayed 13 nights in total) we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming stay. Thank you Karen,
from Mike and Steph.
